When it comes to health care, women voters give the nod to Al Gore
over his rival George W. Bush, according to a poll released Monday
by the non-partisan Kaiser Family Foundation.
The
poll of more than 1,000 potential voters showed also nine out of
10 women ranked health care as a high priority when deciding whom

According
to the poll, more than 40 percent of women said they trusted Gore
on the health issues that mattered to them personally, compared
with 30 percent favoring Bush.
However,

subject.
The
researchers found that male voters were spilt down the middle over
which candidate would perform best on health care issues.
Overall,
both men and women feel that the candidates are not spending enough
time on issues related to women’s health.
