Disclaimer: In an effort to address the retention issue within the nursing profession, a national survey was created to look at core values which impact the ‘fit’
between a nurse and the area of specialization in which she/he practices. Identifying a nurse’s value set will not only allow nurses with that specific values’ profile to
thrive when put in the right nursing specialty, it will assist schools of nursing, new employees and human resource departments in their efforts to address the
recruitment and retention issue. As a member of the nursing professional, you have the opportunity to be involved in a national study. Your participation is greatly

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes. It consists of three pages. You must complete the entire survey at one sitting for your answers to be counted. At the
end of the survey you will see a message informing you that your responses have been successfully entered.

2. Please fill out the required information on the first page. Press the "continue" button to move to the next page. All responses are confidential .

3. On the next two pages, you will be asked to select 10 words from a list of approximately 65 values. You do this by clicking on the box next to the word. To
deselect a word, click on the box next to the word a second time.
